How to reactivate windows 7 after going back to old windows?

I just installed windows 7. I know how to activate old windows, I just need to go to old windows to save and delete some files. But after I’m in old windows, how do I go back to Windows 7. I just want to make sure before I go in old windows and get stuck.

    How are you planning to go in old Windows? Even if you are planning to format and reinstall, the Windows 7 Setup Key should work automatically since your hardware is not changing.

    But if you updated, try looking for the old files from Windows 7. Use the new Start and type Search feature with wild cards like *.doc.
