Starcraft 2 on OSX with MacBook Pro 13″ 320M 2010 Edition
This is Starcraft 2 running on my Macbook Pro 13″ with 320M graphics card. The game was running on OSX with 1280 x 800 resolution. The settings were mostly at medium-high. During gameplay, I saw an average of 15 to 23 FPS. If I had turned down some of the graphical settings, the game would have run even better. Overall, the performance was playable. I tried running the game on my external monitor which is at 1080p resolution. The game definitely experienced serious slowdown at that point and I would need to lower the graphical settings if I wished to pay like that. I mostly just play the game on my MacBook Pro without the external monitor or run in Boot Camp to experience better performance with Windows. On a side note, Starcraft 2 is a wonderful game. I never played the first one, but this is definitely my favorite RTS game thus far followed by Warcraft 3. Blizzard really outdid themselves with this game and I believe it lives up to all the hype and expectations. If you haven’t purchased this game yet, I highly recommend it. This picture is quite a bore when compaired to last years and the ’08 one, but it’s more detailed, and actually has the right poses for once, so that counts for something, right…? RIGHT!?! Anyways, please refrain from telling me “I liked the first one/last one better!”, as that’s quite insulting… This was made in ms paint. Yes, it probably looks different than yours, and that’s because it’s the Windows 7 Paint. Aside from a few fancy brushes, (which I didn’t even use), it’s the same as all Paints. So comments like, “I wish I had that, that way my Paint pictures will look better”, will be laughed at. There is nothing you would be able to do in this Paint that you wouldn’t be able to do in another Paint. I do not care if you picture the character differently, so don’t bother telling me about how I should draw them differently. And lastly, please try and stop your little selves from trying to tell me how horrible the anatomy is. It’s my picture, so I can already see all the mistakes. There are parts of this picture I like, and parts I don’t, but over all, I’m happy with it. You may or may not notice that some parts are faster than others.
