How do you stack tabs on the Windows 7 task bar?

November 7th, 2011 2 Comments   Posted in Windows 7 Downloads

I recently reinstalled Windows 7, but now the task bar operates a bit differently. Previously if I had multiple tabs open in a browser, it would just show as one window being open on the task bar, and would only show as multiple windows if I actually had multiple windows open. After reinstalling, the task bar treats each tab like a seperate window, by showing a couple of icons stacked, and showing multiple windows when I hold the mouse over the icon.

How do I get Windows 7 to only run the essential processes in Task Manager?

July 16th, 2011 1 Comment   Posted in Windows 7 News

Every time I try to open some programs such as firefox, they will open and instantly not respond. I open task manager to see that there are 70 processes running.
Every time I end a process, it opens itself back up.
How do I get only the required processes to run, and what are the required processes for Windows 7 Professional?
I have already removed all startup processes besides my anti-virus.
